A man and his dream can bring you a long way.

Nikolaos Gouvakis was born in the village of Tholopotami, on the beautiful island Chios, Greece.  At the young age of 15, he moved to the United States and stayed for over 50 years.

While in the U.S., he raised a family and worked hard to climb the ranks in the restaurant business, achieving roles as a captain and sommelier, and later, operating his own transportation company. 

But the dream of returning to Tholopotami and creating a vineyard was always present.  And now, four years later, he is proud to present his beautiful wines for you to enjoy.
